The well-know producer of complicated watches – Glashutte Original – proudly presents two new models to replenish its Sport Evolution collection: Sport Evolution Impact Chronograph and Sport Evolution Impact Tourbillon. Traditionally the new watches by Glashutte Original feature exceptionally reliable and precise movements which this time are equipped with an innovative shock absorption system that absorbs up to 60 % of shocks and other outside influences.
The new shock absorption system was developed by the German brand in cooperation with Stuttgart-based Fraunhofer technology development group. In this new absorption system an innovative flexible material – Elastomer - is used as the basis for four cushioning elements which act as fixation points of the movement and dial.
The new Glashutte Original watches feature stainless steel cases with brushed and polished finishes measuring 46 mm in diameter.
The Sport Evolution Impact Chronograph boasts a black dial with bright red elements and baton-shaped markers and Superluminova hands. The dial provides perfect legibility in any time of the day and night. The dial of the Chronograph watch is framed with a tachymeter-bezel. Water resistance of the timepiece makes up 100 meters.
The movement for the Sport Evolution Impact Chronograph is an automatic manufacture Calibre 39-31 with a skeletonized rotor and three-quarter plate visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back.
As for the Sport Evolution Impact Tourbillon the heart of the new timepiece is an automatic Calibre 94 which is notable for an extremely precise time indication owing to the Flying Tourbillon. The movement also provides the function of date which is clearly indicated at 12 o’clock. The dial of the Tourbillon model is notable for polished silver hour markers coated with Superluminova, as well as hour and minute hands.
Both new watches are coupled with rubber straps, Trieste straps or stainless steel bracelets. The Tourbillon model is produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
